Our Gatherings

Trinity Gathered

8:30 & 10:30am Sundays

We meet in the heart of Morningside at 48 Gordon Road; we gather a half an hour before the service starts (so 8:00 for the first morning service and 10:00 before the second morning service) for tea and coffee before moving into the hall together. Trinity Gathered is a down to earth meeting where everyone is welcome.

Gospel Communities

6:30pm Tue / Wed

We long to be people who look more and more like Christ each day. To be changed inwardly by God’s Word and His Spirit, as we meet together in smaller, midweek communities. These typically happen on a Tuesday or Wednesday night, where we eat together, catch up on each others’ lives, and spend time in the Bible and in prayer. These groups meet in homes across the City of Durban. You can read more here.

Gospel Triplets

We know that following Christ and growing in our love for him will happen all the more if we do it in open, honest and deepening friendships. That’s why we’ve formed smaller partnerships within the midweek communities, where 3 of 4 believers can speak openly about their hopes and struggles; spurring each other on to follow Jesus. These partnerships don’t mean an extra meeting in the week but happen every second Tuesday or Wednesday instead of the Gospel Community.

Our Leaders

Elders

The Elders of Trinity Church Morningside are the spiritual authority over the church as laid out in 1 Timothy 3v1-7, Titus 1v5-9, 1 Peter 5v1-4, and Acts 20v17-35.

Their role is to guard and give shape to direction, doctrine, and discipline.
